    St.Paul Church Ruins
    Arguably Macau’s most famous landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul’s continue to captivate visitors centuries after it was originally constructed. Today, most tourists who visit the ruins probably only see the remains of a beautiful old church, but there’s more to its story. In fact, the ruins serve as a key reminder of Macau’s unique roots.
     
    Senado Square
    Senado Square is a public square in Macau. It is located in the central area of the Macau Peninsula. Covering an area of 3,700 square meters, this is one of the four largest squares in Macau. In 2005 it was inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List as it forms part of the Historic Centre of Macau.
     
    A-Ma temple
    A-Ma Temple, located in the southeast of the Macau Peninsula, is the oldest temple here. Approximately four hundred years ago the Portuguese landed on a sea promontory near a temple. They asked the local inhabitants the name of the land, but the locals misunderstood, thinking that the Portuguese were asking for the name of the temple. So they answered ‘Ma Ge’. Later, the Portuguese translated the named into ‘Macau’ and used it to refer to the land. A-Ma Temple is one of the three famous Buddha halls in Macau.
     
    Taipa House
    Acclaimed as one of the top eight sites of Macao, the Taipa Houses represents the charming Portuguese architectural style in Taipa. The Portuguese residences along Avenida da Praia, together with the neighbouring Our Lady of Carmel Church and the garden, comprise a picturesque landscape in which the five green houses stand out as the most representative.

    The area is filled with shops, stalls, and vendors offering a range of delicious snacks, most freshly made on the premises.
